The newly updated Cara Cara Rescue 2 offers lifesaving performance at a very affordable price. Its skeletonized stainless steel liners and textured, injection-molded FRN handles provide the ideal combination of light weight and a secure grip, even in the most demanding environmental conditions. A new hollow-ground, fully-serrated sheepfoot blade provides improved edge geometry and cutting performance while protecting against accidental punctures.

To complete the package, a four-position clip and sturdy back lock mechanism make the knife completely ambidextrous and an ideal choice for right and left-handed users alike.

Whether you're a duty-bound first responder or a prepared civilian, your kit isn't complete without the new Cara Cara Rescue 2.

Byrd Cara Cara Rescue 2 review

Great deck knife but if you take it into salt water you have to meticulously take care of it. Which is hard after some of these long ass chamber runs

The not so spiderco

The blade doesn't have the heft that a spiderco does and the minimalistic approach to the metal used in the backbone of the blade is disappointing when the blade clicks into place. It doesn't inspire confidence . It is sharp and looks good out of the box. I purchased a shackle that stated it would fit the knife and it does not. Its all good I will drill it out. I will let you know after a few dives how it's holding up. All in all a middle of the road dive knife for the baller on a budget.

Good deck knife. Just keep it oiled and don't take it underwater. Doesn't rust as bad as you'd think.
