EarShield is a personal skin care cosmetic spray for conditioning and cleansing of the ears prior to water based activities. Delivering a fine metered spray of a unique blend of water repellent olive, mineral, and tea tree oil into the outer ear, finally coating the auditory canal, giving a conditioning water repellent and cleansing action. Each spray contains approximately 0.05ml of oil solution and should be sprayed into the ears prior to entering the water.

The product is packaged into a unique injection molded carrying case with a resealable lid.  This allows the product to be carried in dive bags, swim bags, pool or beach bags without a chance of the product being accidentally dispensed. The case is also water resistant and designed to float if dropped into the water. Please read the directions for use carefully before you use EarShield.

Directions

Before Using A New Bottle of EarShield Spray, warm in the palm of your hand, shake well, and then press the actuator down 3 to 4 times until you get a spray. When doing this do not point the actuator at yourself or anyone else. This procedure will prime the system and ensure the product is ready to use.

Apply Earshield Spray to both dry ears before entering the water.  Pull the upper ear upwards and backwards (see diagram A).

Holding the bottle in an upright position with the nozzle placed into the ear canal press the actuator firmly (see diagram B). A single actuation per ear should be sufficient, then massage the side of the ear.

On exiting the water, tilt the head to left and right to allow any residual water to drain from the ears (see diagram C).

 

Each application if correctly applied should last for up to 3 hours, though this will vary from person to person. Olive oil, mineral oil and tea tree oils are natural products and have wide daily applications within personal skin care cosmetic products. The actuator button can be removed and rinsed in hot water after use and then seated back on the stem. This product should not be used if you have a sensitivity or allergy to olive, mineral or tea tree oils. If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction stop using this product and inform your Doctor, Nurse, or Pharmacist..

AMAZING PRODUCT!!!~MUST BUY~

I am the parent of a competitive swimmer. I am also a Doctor of Physical Therapy and therefore I work with a lot of athletes. My daughter has had chronic ear infections for the past 5 years she has been swimming. We have tried EVERYTHING... every natural, preventive product out there but no matter how consistent we are about staying on a daily regimen she still gets ear infections at least once every few months. We even got specialized ear plugs made that she wears in the water!! $125 bucks per ear!! I came across this product while in Seaside Pharmacy picking up some medical supplies for my Physical Therapy Clinic. I saw it on the counter and front desk assistant told me that people rave about this product. I had to get it! Lucky for me it did not let me down. THIS PRODUCT IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST PRODUCT ON THE MARKET TO PREVENT EAR INFECTIONS !! We have been using it for about 6 months straight and my daughter has not had an ear infection to date. She quirts it in as directed before she gets in the pool. She has not used her ear plugs since we started using the product. Her coach is ecstatic because now my daughter can actually hear what she is saying while swimming.
