Description
The HYCON HWP4 4" hydraulic trash pump features an advanced VORTEX design, specifically engineered for handling dirty water with large solids. The unique impeller at the top creates a circular motion in the water, forming a cone-shaped air pocket at the center due to centrifugal force. This design minimizes the direct contact between water and the impeller, significantly reducing wear compared to conventional pumps. As a result, the pump has a longer lifetime and the ability to handle larger solids without suffering from excessive wear. Additionally, the pump can run dry without damaging the components, ensuring its reliability and durability in demanding environments.
This unit is supplied with a 30' discharge hose with a coupler to the pump end only.
