Kirby Morgan® is pleased to announce the release of the P/N 805-245 Bump Guard and P/N 825-125 Bump Guard Kit for the Surface Supplied MOD-1 and M-48 MOD-1 modular full face masks. The P/N 825-125 Bump Guard Kit is included with the P/N 805-245 Bump Guard. The Bump Guard is an accessory item that HELPS protects the divers’ heads from abrasion and minor impact. The fiberglass Bump Guard is currently available in YELLOW AND BLACK but can be ordered in any other Kirby Morgan color option. It comes with a 304L stainless steel bracket secured to the top of the guard that can be used for mounting cameras/lights and ensures the guard’s proper alignment with the mask. Quick drain impact foam is secured to the guard’s inside with removable silicone attachment grommets and can be easily replaced if needed.
NOTE: The Bump Guard IS NOT DESIGNED TO protect the diver’s head or neck from crushing injuries or heavy impacts.
